Cheryl Chappel is President and CEO of Think Marketing. As Think’s chief brand, marketing, and customer experience consultant, she helps clients clarify, live, and package their brands.
Cheryl is a graduate of McMaster University, where she obtained a BA in Fine Art and Art History. From there, she continued her studies at the Ontario College of Art, where she obtained her second degree in Design and Advertising. Her years of experience in branding and marketing consulting, combined with her educational roots in the creative arts and advertising, has resulted in a unique combination of skills that enable her to see branding and marketing challenges from strategic, visual, and experiential perspectives.
As a branding and marketing professional, Cheryl has dedicated the past two decades of her career to helping organizations build compelling, meaningful, and lasting brands. She has spearheaded a broad range of branding and marketing initiatives for clients in virtually every industry sector. She has facilitated hundreds of branding, corporate culture, customer experience, and marketing workshops for large and small companies, and has developed unique, engaging workshop formats that successfully engage senior leadership teams, frontline staff, and external stakeholders.
Cheryl has a strong reputation as an industry trailblazer, being the first to integrate online solutions under the ad agency umbrella in Atlantic Canada, and re-defining traditional ad agency formats to align with changing client and market demands. She is a seasoned leader with more than two decades of experience leading creative teams, and has mentored dozens of creative and marketing professionals throughout her career, many of whom have gone on to become the region’s brightest stars.
